Are you the type of person who avoids walking under a ladder or steps over the cracks on the pavement? How about continuously checking locks or that the oven is always turned off? Some would call it an illness but I see it as just good sense. One of my favourite ‘ticks’ is the hawk-eyed ability to spot spelling or grammatical errors wherever I go. As a copywriter it is an important tool. I used to get enraged {after all someone else was paid to create this copy} so I have made the decision to document it here as a temporary soothing measure.
“Hello, I would like an appointment to view a showflat but I see you only do appoinments.” Nice one G3 North.

Welcome to Betfred, where gamblers are illiterate and desperate consumers so don’t have to be enticed with decent, well written ads. ‘Infomation‘ I mean come on!

Yes, cheers Mum.
*grumble grumble
I remember seeing a flyer design at my old work once which threw me into a similar rage.
I went on a two minute tirade-which must have seemed much longer to the poor individual that happened to be on the receiving end of this rant just because he happened to be sat nearest to me-about what was wrong with the design.
My unfortunate listener just replied “Aye. Okay, art boy”.

I couldn’t agree more but may I just point out that ‘after all’ is a phrase of two words? (Love you!)
