Brodie’s is more than your average Scottish restaurant- the warm welcome, acoustic sounds and offbeat approach to menu design will intrigue all who visit.
Where it was once a quirky wee secret Brodie’s has fast grown in popularity, so much so that a loyalty card system is in place and booking ahead is strongly recommended.
Established by a young couple and their friends, it’s the product of a love for hospitality, food and each other. Owners Andy and Davaar are hands-on when it comes to running their business; inventing new dishes, experimenting with locally sourced produce and embracing suggestions from their customers. One of the more daring menu combinations includes haggis nachos. But it’s the stovies that are a must for a first timer. Be advised to starve yourself beforehand as there will be little room left over.
The team at Brodie’s take pride in every meal by using the best ingredients from award winning suppliers. The prices are reasonable with regular special offers and a £5 weekday lunch. Brodie’s Farmhouse, a restaurant and deli located in Houston, will open this March. Until then stroll along to the West Regent Street venue- you won’t be disappointed.
